Previously, on Survivor:

Cylons were created by man.

A bunch of people wrote stories that didn’t end. Many were fantastic, and left audiences hungry for more. Here’s the proof.

This week, you get to pay off the stories. However, you may not pay off your own story. Each of you will take someone else’s cliffhanger, and write the “next episode.” Hey, that’s how it’s done in TV. (Okay, so there’s an executive producer to hold the show together, but still, it’s sort of like this.)

The effectiveness of the payoff will be part of it, but it wouldn’t hurt if the story has the same feel all the way through.

Expect judging to take some time, since DK and I will probably need to read the lead-in stories before reading the payoffs to get the full effect. All in all, this is a stupid undertaking, but I have no obligations next Sunday, so whatever.

Stories can be 400 words. I think that’s what the cliffhangers were, so there you go.

You have until Sunday, January 1st at 2pm Central, and the two-elimination possibility is still in effect in the extremely likely event that two people decide they’re done with the game. Please don’t eff this up because you’re drunk or whatever. Just do it early if you have to, alright? I’d lengthen it to Monday, but Monday doesn’t work for DK like at all, so just plan your challenge accordingly. Hell, David and Dean usually have theirs in by Thursday.

Cheers, Survivors. This should be interesting.
