We now have four left, so everyone must defend against only one person this turn. Barnaby and Kellifer are down to two knots, and Orgulas and Randy have all three left. If Randy misses another submission he will be out of the challenge and will receive one BB strike. Submissions for turn 2 are due Wednesday (tomorrow) at 2 PM Central.

Kellifer FALLS TO DEATH (Barnaby is defending)

Barnaby de-knots Orgulas (1)
Orgulas de-knots Kellifer (irrelevant, since Kellifer died)

We’re down to two, each having two knots left. To the tiebreaker, knots of others undone without anyone else undoing them:

Barnaby: 1 knot undone alone (Orgulas’s)
Orgulas: 0 knots undone alone (Kellifer’s being irrelevant)

Barnaby Winstringham wins the first Power of Veto of the season. Barnaby has until Thursday (tomorrow) at noon Central to decide whether to use the Veto to remove one of the nominees.

Traditionally, the nominated Houseguests are given a chance to make a public plea to the Veto winner to be saved from nomination. We’re not going to exactly replicate that here, but the nominees are encouraged to make whatever pitch they deem appropriate to the Veto winner before their decision is made.

Have a good afternoon, Houseguests.

VETO UPDATE

Barnaby has chosen not to use the Power of Veto on either nominee. Therefore, Corliss and Randy remain eligible for the eviction vote.

As the two nominees, Corliss and Randy would only be able to vote for each other, and their votes would cancel out. Therefore, they are not required to submit anything to me for this vote. As HoH, Orgulas is not allowed to vote except in the event of a tie. The other eight Houseguests must submit a vote to evict either Corliss or Randy from the game to me by the deadline; if anyone doesn’t submit, they will receive one BB strike.

I plan to set the deadline for this Friday at 9 PM Central. With the holiday going on, if anyone thinks they’ll have a big problem getting their vote in to me before that time, let me know and I’ll extend the deadline. Either way, we’ll hold off starting the next HoH challenge until Monday.
