Okay, but I have ample evidence that there’s nobody more loyal than Viola. As for “waking up the game,” the game wakes up on its own. It doesn’t need forcing.
I’m keeping an open mind, but so far you’ve controlled 100% of the day and you’re openly deciding who is and isn’t “really” part of the group. It’s so…impatient.

If I’m going out this round then I hope that Schapp challenges Todah, so that he at least has to give up his card. I don’t mind that this put DG in pool for tomorrow but I think it’s a dick way of making it happen.

I don’t know if they would or would not have used it here. There’s only potentially 4 people who could influence DG (one being you, and your number is likely to be outed here). If it’s the difference between keeping the alliance going another day or two, they might well have used it. Particularly under pressure if DG used an influence to effectively threaten an alliance member.
Now we’ll never know. Unless they tell us. Then we’ll just believe them. Right?

Also another reason I wanted to use wine on DG right away is to take his ability to influence us out of the equation. To me, DG with a high card is the biggest threat in the game. There’s no way he was going to make himself a kill option on his own and while we could hope someone had a higher card than him i just thought if he can get him guaranteed vulnerable next round it was worth the sacrifice going forward (obviously Viola won’t agree with this and I do feel bad because I do enjoy playing these games with Viola).

Sure, but that’s just one person. The rest of us pile on and he’s there next round.
The more I look at this move, the more I understand it. The other option was trusting both that someone else had a higher card and that they would use it this round. Todah was the only one of us with the wine option, so it makes some sense that he’d see this differently.
It stinks for Veebee, and it would have for any of us targeted, but from a healthy-if-not-whole-group standpoint it makes sense.
