War! Superpowers! Rainbow Calculators! Menial jobs! It’s all here, gang!
No time for a long introduction, but there’s some interesting stuff here, both funny and sad. I know some of you may not be experienced writers, but I think you all acquitted yourselves well.
It’s a good thing I announced a tiebreaker scenario.
The BB Randomizer has selected the following Houseguests to play in the Veto along with Pillow, Brant, and Dusty:
Hybrid Carlos
Christy Bubblepumpkin
Lester Sweetums
The six of you will be writing a story for the challenge Old Job, New Job. In this story, we observe a character doing his or her current job duties (“job” can be a wide open term here) but he or she can’t seem to shake some habits from the old one. Whether that’s a positive or a negative is all you.
I’ll give you 350 words for this one. Pepper and I will judge these and whoever comes out with the highest medal score will win the PoV. If there’s a tie between our scores, whichever tied player that I gave the highest medal to will win the PoV.
These are due Wednesday night at 8 PM Central. Remember to send stories to the bigbrother2writing@gmail.com email. I will do my best to get results up that evening, but I’m not going to make an absolute promise, so it’s possible they will go up early Thursday morning instead. After that we will get to our next eviction vote.
There’s a lot of comedy here, folks. That’s kind of why I asked for this one, knowing we might want it on the heels of the last one. We had our hits, we had our misses…we had judges who agreed enough that it was almost scary…we had action, adventure, fencing, revenge, true love…not much could screw this up, you know? Nope, it would take something out of the ordinary to screw this up. Does it seem like I might be foreshadowing something here? Why do you think that, guys?

It seems we’ve dispensed with the comments on stories (hopefully, you’re all still reading) and we’re getting right to the meat of the matter. Here’s your rather early elimination.
Vote One: Sama Smith.
Vote Two: Erik S.

Aloha again, Survivors. Did the one-day deadline bring greatness or okayness? I don’t know yet, because I wrote this hours before the deadline to prepare for the night’s post. Well, Erik and Sarah, you’re well acquainted with dueling. What happened in the latest edition?
Okay, now I’ve read them. I can say that I’m cool with either person moving on, as each did different things well. When I was done and had chosen, I figured “I don’t even care if I’m overruled…these are both good.” Was I overruled? I don’t know yet because one isn’t done. I can tell you it’s a 2-1 vote, though.

Alright, Survivors. These were more fun than I’d hoped. I’ll admit I was pretty tough on them – tough-sounding, at least – but I liked the concepts a lot. No worries…DK was his normally sunny self to pick up the slack.
Once again this week, everyone showed up. This might mean we’ll be switching over to the medal system of scoring, but I don’t know yet. If you care, make a comment.
