Parishioners: Like villagers but holier.
The Parish
Cast of characters:
Father Ted: The leader of this small community is always sneaking in to people’s bedrooms at night to “offer a confessional.” Each night he chooses the “lucky parishioner” and receives a confession from them regarding their true identity. Whatever else goes on is up to the parishioner.Father Jack: Drunk cantankerous old bastard that can only speak in short, foul-mouthed sentences, usually along the lines of “Drink!;” “Ass;” and “Feck,” in any order. Other words can be used as long as the sentence is mostly nonsense. Very rarely is he lucid or does he make sense, but thrice a day he can reveal his beautiful inner self and express his true feelings in a poetic manner befitting an Irish priest. He can be either a wolf or a parishioner. Let me be clear. Three posts a day, any length, to lay it out there. The rest of the posts have to be nonsensical. They can be responses to other posts, and hopefully will be humorous, but cannot forward any strategy.
Mrs Doyle: A loving and eager helper to Father Ted and the parish at large, she constantly blunders her way into improving the lives of those around her. Every other night, starting on night 1 (as opposed to-night 0) she chooses a Parishioner to run an errand for. If that parishioner is chosen by the the unholy as a target, the unholy mistakenly follow Mrs Doyle and a comedic mishap ensues and the parishioner and Mrs Doyle escape alive. The first time Mrs Doyle herself is targeted she manages to escape but a comedic mishap occurs and Father Dougal McGuire is bitten instead.
Father Dougal McGuire: If Mrs Doyle is targeted by the unholy, a comedic mishap causes the unholy to bite Father McGuire instead, though his holiness allows him to survive the bite. Essentially, the unholy do not get a kill this night, but both Mrs Doyle and Father McGuire’s roles are revealed. The Unholy: Their number is 3.
Roles will be revealed at death. Day begins at 9am CST and ends at 10pm CST. If a majority is reached at any point in the day the day continues until the standard time and the unlucky subject is locked in the rectalry. I mean rectory. NOTE: I have altered the role of Father McGuire so that he’s not totally useless. You may notice the game is stacked pro-parish. Deal.
Roles have been sent. Let me know if you didn’t get yours. Day begins at 9am CST.

The Parish
The day dawns, gray and calm. As the sleepy village begins to stir, just as father Ted is applying his morning tea bag, a single note rings loudly from the town square. A scream. A young woman, thinks father Ted dispassionately.
As the parishioners begin to gather in the square a scene of grotesque violence unfolds before them. The village Don, Grey the Calm lies dead in a puddle of blood and severed limbs. The single scream that had alerted the parish of this travesty is revisited, and a chorus of wails follows from the village women, as well as a series of uncomfortable sideways glances between the village men.
One of these men steps forward. “We must find who did this and debate about their innocence for many hours and then hang someone, most likely someone else!”
At this a chorus of mostly enthusiastic low cries of what could possibly be interpreted as agreements, though arguably, rings out and the square promptly empties save three indescribably beautiful women, all too bereft to regain their feet. One such woman removes her hands from her face and opens her tear-filled eyes long enough to notice something clenched in the teeth in the severed head of her lost lover. A patch of gray fur.
She stands, suddenly defiant, clenching the fur in her hand held aloft and cries “Were-wolf!”
A cacophony of shutters and doors being slammed shut is followed by a single, muffled voice from the rectory. “Look up in the hills, I’ve seen a few up there!”
* cheaptoy has received a blessing from above, the gift of divine communication. He can only speak as though channeling the voice of the lord, at the pulpit, a la a crazy baptist preacher.

In the village justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the villagers, who half-assedly investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who do little in the way of defending the accused. Today is one of those stories.
Looks like the new guy in town is full of fire and has brought his own agenda with him to the village.

This is why I worry about voting for TDO or cheaptoy early. If they’re wolves, I can see them worrying enough when we catch other wolves to show themselves. If they’re villagers, they look villagery until the moment they have a couple votes, and then they start saying wolfy things.

I think it was a continuation of the thought he had last game, where he wondered if wolves would keep him around because he seems to have a continual cloud of suspicion around him, which can make him a useful late game target for misdirection.
I think that will keep him (and has kept him *cough* Star Trek *cough*) from being a night kill, but a wolf would have no problem voting for him during the day, because even if there was no rationale initially, TDO usually provides something that can be viewed as wolfy pretty soon afterward.

Early on, adobery has been presented as a possible target, as he’s the only one with multiple votes, so it seems natural that some discussion should involve him and his actions.

I think that if the Pirate is a wolf, it’s going to be nigh impossible to sniff him out on day 1. Like you said, it will have to do with the lucid posts, but given that he can’t really argue, we’ll probably have to collect evidence for now and wait on him until a later day.

Cheaptoy, I wish he’d show up, but it’s going to be hard to get any read on special characters like him or Will as they can hide behind that.

I’d hate to vote out a newby on the first day in their first game because that blows, but we’ll see. I’d be happy to vote out Nibbish based on his similar participation or TDO, just to get the ball of confusion out of the way.

Anyway, back to the game play and i agree with DG’s earlier post.
My game is off, why, I dunno, after thursday I have the rest of the year off work, so part of me has already checked out mentally at work and the other half is trying to get everything done so no one bothers me while I’m away from work. Other than that i dunno why i’m off but i’ve noticed it too. I’ve called out one guy when i meant someone else, simple math is still causing me problems, and i forgot already that nibbish was a wolf last game. None of this is because Im a wolf, becasue I’m not, i just am being stupid today lol.

Spooky-at times has seemed dodgy
Adobery-not being his usual aggrevating self on day 1
cheaptoy-been quiet

dean-has said nothing/little in terms of helping figure out who’s who
TDO-dumb as bricks today

Okay, since this has serious’d up quite a bit in the last twenty minutes, I’ll lay some cards down.
I suspect TDO. I know that gives Spooky an in to gut me, but TDO’s been ultra obfuscating today. I know that part of that can be distraction and misremembering facts, but I also know that the first day you’re a wolf, if you start talking too much, lots of info spills out (and since, as a wolf, 90% of your cases are built on lies, a lot of that info is babble in the hands of a novice wolf).
I don’t really suspect Adobery anymore, in my opinion, he’s begun to play his normal game now.
DG is funny and deadly. If he were a wolf, would he be this adamant about kickstarting the village (answer: of course he would be, but he’s still not on my radar).
Most of the rest of things have been nonsense and first day humor, leading to very little. If we’re truly going to start hunting down wolves, rather than killing a villager day one, let’s start cracking, then.

Yes, DG and Spooky are at the tier above. Pretty much have to wait and see if some action on a later day betrays them or something, as they’ve both shown they can act the same as wolf or villager.
We got 4-3 Novak/TDO so that should be something to argue over.

I think we need to put some pressure on TDO. I do think he’s being stranger than usual. Even if he’s not a wolf, maybe it will force him to pay more attention or double check some facts before he posts.

Another example..I think, “Okay, did Spooky suggest that we don’t vote for TDO and Cheaptoy because they just start looking Wolfy once they are accused because it would be good strategy or did he do it to keep us from them for awhile.” Most likely nothing, but man it can drive ya nuts.
Cmon Cheaptoy, Beau, highums, Novak, Dean…we need more from ya.
December 19, 2011 at 7:19 pm
nibbish
Fair enough, let’s start with that, and add you and I into the mix, since we both seem to be catching an unwarranted level of suspicion ourselves.
Novak: Strikes me as odd that he’d be doing nothing but retribution, but looking back, it’s hard to do anything but that on day one a lot of times, wolf or no. I’d say that he’d probably make a slip up sometime day two if he is a wolf, so I’m content leaving him be for now, unless a brutally obvious flaw shines forth.
TDO: Mentioned above. Like Cheaptoy, he’s pretty much a hirsutor in this game, only moreso. Everything he says and does looks wolfy, but I do feel like he’s amping it up this game. That could be overanalyzing or seeing somethig that isn’t there, it just seems like overload.
Adobery: Now that you’re actually analyzing things and showing the form that terrified me when I was a wolf, I have no reason to suspect you. Never seen you as a wolf that I can recall, so maybe your wolf face is really really good, but for now, I’ll count you on my team.
Me: I’m a villager, but you all knew I’d say that. The cliche that playing a wolf makes you a better villager has to be at least partially true. If nothing else, it certainly makes you a more confident villager. Plus, I was putting together quotes and purchase orders most of the day, and waiting for things to get imaged. Now I’m home alone, it’s been a strangely perfect day to be playing werewolf, which accounts for my extra time participating today, which allows me to feel like I’ve got more a handle on what’s going on.
There you go. Let’s discuss.
December 19, 2011 at 7:23 pm
adobery
I do find TDOs multiple comments about me not acting the same just a wee bit much. Haven’t I been a not-much-help jokester like usual? Maybe he is throwing more “facts” out there to try to look helpful…but he slips up so much with his words I still really dont’ know if its just him or wolfy.
Novak it all depends on how busy he is…same for everyone. Are they quite because its middle of work day or cause they don’t know what to say? I’m sure Novak would not be shy to make a bunch of posts if it didn’t come down to time.
December 19, 2011 at 7:27 pm
adobery
and really, anyone who is too worried about me analyzing things has overestimated my importance. Beau has said the same…I pieced two wolves together late in the game when there was four days of evidence to go through. I was wrong many more times before that.
I can’t get reads on people worth shit. Spooky comes out day one and makes reads like “ya player x is posting more than his last 4 games and is doing z a little different”. Last game he said you (nibbs) were acting different I couldn’t pick up on it.
Everyone suspected bhiggum and even after they said why I couldn’t see it. Then everyone suspected will and I didn’t even know why they suspected.

I worried about you, because unless you’re playing a top shelf game (which is unlikely as a first time wolf), your greatest enemy is someone who’s willing to go through all the old stuff you did and said and bring it to light. It’s not helpful day one, maybe not even day two, but unless you’re playing a good game, it starts to show later on, which is a big reason why so many seemingly successful wolf campaigns fall apart on day three that I’ve seen.
You just seem to be willing to dredge all that up. At that point, anyone can parse it.

The reason I’ve been watching nibs closely was because he was pushing at adobery for a while earlier, while adobery had a decent number of votes on him (one of which was mine, btw). I feel a bit more comfy with nibbish after his analysis post here.

Okay, here are some thoughts.
Nibbish: Last game he acted like he never had before by sounding more confident, deliberate. This game he seems slightly less deliberate but very helpful. At this point I say villager.
Adobery: I don’t suspect him at this point. I think he’d be less verbose if he were a wolf.
TDO: First of all dude, there’s 9 parishioners, 3 wolves. Therefore, there’s a 9 in 12 chance that Will Young is a parishioner, or 75%. Secondly, “we don’t have much to go on right now” and “killing me won’t help us” are wolfy statements if I’ve ever seen them.
DG: He’s acting a lot like greekhouse was acting in game 3 when he was a villager. I’ll stick with that for now.
Novak: Will wait to see what he says tonight. I agree retaliation votes are wolfy, but early he also asked for clarification as to whether or not a majority could be brought back or not. Would a wolf really care that much about accidentally voting someone over majority?
Bhiggum: Looks like his usual unassuming villagery self
Will Young: So far he’s said really nothing of any substance, even though two comments are debatably lucid. If he were a villager, would he not be careful about saving his lucid comments for strategy?
Here’s the thing. Having Will Young around if he’s a villager will not be nearly as helpful for us than he will be for the wolves if he is one. He can basically hide behind his role the whole time and we have little to go on. That scares me.
I’m keeping my vote on Will for now.
December 19, 2011 at 7:47 pm
nibbish
I know that higs plays a decent wolf (from that one turbo, and plus the time he was Quark, though he wasn’t a wolf, he was still quite shifty), so he always worries me. No reason to actually suspect him at the moment, though.
The idea of killing a likely villager puts a chill to me. I’d rather analyze others in the village and see if we can learn something, rather than give wolves (and villagers less inclined to do any fact-finding) any easy out vote that will later teach us nothing.
December 19, 2011 at 7:48 pm
adobery
Novak: Good point on a wolf not caring about voting over a majority. Maybe a wolf would care if they got a villager locked away and was worried that it could be undone and still go after a wolf? Probably a stretch.
TDO: I don’t think I can count on all my toes and fingers the number of times he’s said “we don’t have much to gon on right now” and “killing me won’t help us”. So that doesn’t mean much to me.
Will: Good point.
Maybe a vote between TDO and Will would be a good bet for the first day. They are likely to be the most confusing..and Will certainly can’t offer up much of any help and can hide behind it. Wolves would most likely keep both of them around.
Whatcha all think?

I still think it has a chilling effect on the amount of useful info we get out of the vote itself. If we actually force people to vote for people they think are wolves, we get more and better data to go on for later.
Also, I still don’t like killing likely villagers.

am i the only one comprehending that whoever Father Jack is is also 50% of being a wolf.
Father Jack: Drunk cantankerous old bastard that can only speak in short, foul-mouthed sentences, usually along the lines of “Drink!;” “Ass;” and “Feck,” in any order. Other words can be used as long as the sentence is mostly nonsense. Very rarely is he lucid or does he make sense, but thrice a day he can reveal his beautiful inner self and express his true feelings in a poetic manner befitting an Irish priest. He can be either a wolf or a parishioner.

Assuming Grey did it the way everyone else has done it, he lined everyone up and let a random number generator choose each role, therefore there’s a 1/4 chance that any given player is a wolf. Since he assigned the Father what’s-his-face role randomly, as well, there’s the same 1/4 chance that it landed on someone who was assigned as a wolf as opposed to a villager.

When you have reason (via voting record or coin flip or however it’s traditionally done) to believe he’s actually a wolf. I’d treat him the same as I would Spooky or DG at this point, honestly. Nothing they will say or won’t say will confirm their status as villager or wolf, we just have to wait it out.

December 19, 2011 at 8:02 pm
TDO
this game, for whatever reason, is really annoying me. this will probably be taking a wolfish, but whatever. here’s my point for the last time.
Dread Pirate is Father Jack based on the fact that no one is acting like the Father Jack character and its the only role requiring stupid comments.
Father Jack can be a wolf or parishioner.
The rest of us have a 2/11 or 3/11 chance.
Father Jack’s role brings no help to us, the village, outside of comedic relief. He’s not a seer, and provides nothing more than the normal village character outside of his regulations on his comments.
So we have a 50% chance on day one of getting 1 wolf or a 18-27% chance going with someone else based on what we are reading into it. For day 1 it seems a 50% chance is the best shot I’ve seen us have in the games I’ve played.
If this still doesnt make sense just kill me now.
December 19, 2011 at 8:05 pm

You’re assuming Grey decided on a coin flip what Jack would be. The rest of are not assuming this. I’m not sure what else to say unless Grey clarifies.
December 19, 2011 at 8:06 pm
kg2005
It doesn’t make sense. Will being a wolf and Will being Father Jack are not related. Will had a 1/12 chance to be Father Jack (or higher if Grey rigged it), but he should still only have a 3/12 chance to be a wolf.
December 19, 2011 at 8:08 pm
nibbish
It wasn’t explicitly stated, so I supposed that anyone could have the Father what’s-his-face affliction, but I suppose that doesn’t make much sense.
If we assume that the William tongue cannot strike another named character, the chances are, in fact 3/8.
Sorry, Will, but that’s approaching a ratio I could live with.
December 19, 2011 at 8:13 pm
nibbish
If you’re wondering how I got 3/8 instead of 3/9, it’s because I’m including myself as a non-seer villager, as should all of you who know yourself to be non-seer villagers.
December 19, 2011 at 8:08 pm
Grey
First I randomly assigned numbers to the players. Then I rolled numbers for the unholy. Then I rolled numbers for the special characters. This means that there is roughly a 25% chance that anyone in the game is an unholy at this point.

If Grey is trying to maintain fairness in this game…maybe he should just tell us that he did in fact assign Pastor Jack randomly to any one of us? We cannot narrow the seer down to more than a 1/12 shot as villagers in the dark…why should we be able to narrow down what Pastor Jack is?
December 19, 2011 at 8:23 pm

Semi-lucid post:
So I’m my usual vawillager-self constrained by a slight drinking problem (but not nearly as bad some of those stories the spookster was sharing). While I will have to post incoherently throughout the day, I will be able to make three lucid posts daily, so I am not completely silenced.
I’m usually pretty useless on the first couple of days as I’m no expert at spotting early tells. The last few games, I was always convinced TDO was a wolf, but he is playing pretty consistently (although apparently somewhat distractedly) so he seems pretty villagery to me. Of course, TDO has been showing a wolfishly poor grasp on math because I have a 25% chance of being a wolf – just like everyone else.
DA Novak gave adobery the loislane treatement, but he has no history to use, so there’s no point in chalking too much of that up to wolfiness yet.
adobery’s late shift the last hour or so seems pretty villagery as well, but he usually has me totally befuddled on day one and gets himself offed before I can truly figure him out. We villagers keep getting rid of him too early to use him to our advantage.
Beau’s willingness to push for me makes some sense given there is not much to work with today. However, it usually takes until about day three for me to help the village, so my grunts have not deprived the village of too much insight thus far. Still, I can’t blame him for throwing a dart out there.
At this point, I’m not moving my vote off thealmightyguru because I would love to get him talking just to get a feel for him (so he doesn’t get railroaded like TDO and kg as newbs).

Boo to role assignology being a factor.
Grey said “This means that there is roughly a 25% chance that anyone in the game is an unholy at this point.”
That seems to contradict the prevailing assumption that the odds are different for him.

December 19, 2011 at 9:06 pm
Beau
There is a 25% chance that anyone was unholy when the game started. But because Will’s role is confirmed, the game changes.
It’s a bit like the “Let’s Make A Deal” game. If you choose door #1, and door #3 is revealed to be a dud, the odds are better if you switch to door #2. Now that you know that the big prize is not in door #3, the odds have changed and you have to change your game accordingly.
December 19, 2011 at 9:10 pm
adobery
I still don’t understand that theory even after reading all about it. If There were two dud doors and 1 prize door. You picked door #1 and door #3 is revealed to be a dud. So now you know either #1 or #2 has the prize. You are offered the choice to either stay at door #1 or pick door #2. Each are equally as likely to have the prize now, assuming it’s totally random from the onset. What difference does it make which you choose?
Off topic, but I’ve been meaning to write Greek about that.

If I may read a passage from our Glorious Volume:
“And the Lord said, ‘For door #1 may not speak, so that it may defend its hinged honor. Yet, should a man survive such a choice as thine holy door, such a man may may spread his word, for no man shall contain thy prize without the My given right prove of his prize.”

I understand the argument. The question is, why would being the angel, the seer, or Dougal McGuire preclude someone from being Father Jack?
The way I’m reading Grey’s comment seems to indicate that it wouldn’t.

I’m going to wait for a voting update before going back through posts to see if I can find a decent reason to vote for someone besides Will (sorry Will, but a 3-in-8 shot that you’re a wolf is a lot better odds than the blindfolded dart throwing we normally indulge in the first day).

Actually, it does. I have 2 kids. One of them just had surgery and requires extensive diapering, since the sutures come down into her bottom and pooping gets very messy and infectiony. Here’s my thinking with Beau…
He hasn’t had any attention on him today, but has felt comfortable suggesting a number of people. Maybe that’s par for him? I dunno. But it seem… well, wolfy. He’s been fairly constant on TAG. Also on TAG? Will. We know Will is somewhat more likely to be a wolf. Beau has professed a consistent willingness (hehe, get it?) to vote Will, but he switched away from that pretty quick, and he’s stuck by TAG on what seems to me to be a weak rationale. And since pretty much everyone else seems like a villager…
So we’ve got more-likely-to-be-a-wolf Will and Beau paired up as the evening moves on. I dunno. It’s a good enough reason for me.

I know you’re new, so I’ll let you in on something. Not suggesting people to vote for is one of the wolfiest things one can do. The reason being is that the more one talks, the more one is likely to slip up. So bad wolves will stay quiet, hope the vote goes a certain way. Villagers tend to try to find wolves and it’s the most important thing they can do. Good wolves also try to find wolves so they seem like villagers.
I don’t know about fairly constant on TAG. I voted for him at first just because he’s new and it’s sort of a rite of passage here. I went back to him because he’s probably talked the least of anyone on the board today and I want him to talk. Because the less he talks, the less info we have to go on.
I mainly voted Will because I felt the odds were progressively leaning towards wolfdom. I took my vote off him because I felt all we were doing was debating math. Such a debate helps the wolves hide, because it does little to get them talking.

How did I attack novak in my post? I was just defending my position.
Also, I’d like people to remember what happened in Werewolf 3. On day two, I had two or three votes against me (I was a wolf). I came up with a semi-logical, but not great, reason to vote for meat. The tide turned super fast, and meat got to seven votes within a twenty minute time frame. The village came to their senses and turned the vote back to me. At the time, 3 of the 7 votes for meat were from wolves.
Tides usually don’t turn this fast unless there’s at least one wolf behind it.

Semi-lucid post again: TDO has always seemed most chatty when his feet are to the fire, so this does not seem to be all that unusual for him and his past villager games.
My vote has been on TAG all day, but he hasn’t posted in hours. I hate losing someone like Rachel in one of the early survivors simply for not showing up. A vote for him today doesn’t seem to offer much because no one has really discussed him either way.
Further, Beau has been making very coherent arguments all day, so I’m not seeing him as too wolfy. None of these top three choices really strike me as great, but I’ve never really had a good feeling in past games about anyone on day one.
nibbish’s list above did not name anybody as looking particularly wolfy. Pretty strange since everybody had been commenting throughout the day on his wolfishness.
adobery started the day acting unusual (even moreso on day one than usual for him) but then had a really strong few hours helping the village in the late-afternoon. Now his game has shifted back to being pretty unusual as he got especially defensive (TDO-style) towards Beau and DG despite having no votes on him. Like DG, I share suspicions of adobery, but it’s pointless to put a sole vote on him day one.
For now, I will unvote TAG, vote nibbish just because he’s around (unlike last game) and can help discuss things during these final minutes. Still, adobery is very much on my radar if things start moving that way.

This seems an odd comment to make. Beau was campaigning pretty hard for us to at least look into the possibility of voting Will out not too very long ago.
Also, Beau’s comment rings at least partially true, quick tide-changing is often indicative of wolves. Even last game, when we were lucky with the villagers making up their own minds, the tide change was a lot slower than this.
December 19, 2011 at 10:41 pm
mbnovak
The reason I made this comment is because part of my logic behind Beau was that I felt he and Will seemed to be of the same-mind; his “let’s vote Will” stuff didn’t ring true, since he didn’t actually do it himself.
So then, when I talked more about Beau, will made comments. The first time I explained on Beau, Will said Analysis Feck Soothing Blue Wrong BRANDY!!!!. The second time was when Beau used times (numbers) to refute me, and Will wrote Math prominent unlike circular ore baggage. I dunno… maybe Will’s just trying to help me out? Or maybe he’s siding with Beau. And maybe they’re both trying to help me out. Or maybe… They’re wolves!

I honestly see what you’re saying. But what I was trying to do was push hard for people to consider him and his role, and not just ignore him because he speaks gibberish. I think a good villager does that, too.

Beau
At this point I’m not sure TAG is going to come buy to talk, so I fear a vote for him tells us zilch, which is no better than voting for Will.
Of the people voting for me, I still don’t suspect Novak or TDO for reasons stated previously. Nibbish is riding me pretty hard and sort of making stuff up about me “riding Will hard” when my comments were pretty ambivalent regarding him. I was just trying to get people to talk about his role could affect the game and figure out the math.
Higgum hasn’t said much other than to pile on at (2) and DG piled on at (3).
Adobery has also made up stuff about me, though he could be misremembering what with his hungry stomach.

I dunno about that. I just thought it was strange, and no one’s given me a lot else to go on lately. I laid out my thoughts, do you have anything better for me to look at?

I voted Beau because it looked like he was the next wave of votes, and I wanted to get it up there in numbers and see what happened.
Based on the lack of an alternative being proposed, and the reasons Beau has pointed out, I feel pretty confident Beau isn’t the best choice.
unvote: Beau — vote: TDO
He’s been himself, but his self is pretty wolfy. I can see us having this argument over and over again. Might as well settle it now.
December 19, 2011 at 10:41 pm
Beau
I considered this.
Also, remember TDO didn’t want to pile on someone earlier just to save himself, but he gave me the 5th vote without any explanation.
December 19, 2011 at 10:40 pm
Beau
So, I ask higgum, DG, and TDO. Neither of you have listed a reason for voting for me. Please do or you’re more likely to look wolfy tomorrow when I’m shown to be a villager.

When I “piled on” with the second vote, it was as DG mentioned- trying to get a higher number of votes on fewer players to see what came out. I get what you’re saying about getting up to 5 votes in a half-hour, but I think we’ve all learned from our past mistakes about being too wishy-washy on getting a consensus the first day.

You guys are getting the wolf vibe on TDO after all the questioning he did of the pastor role to jusitfy voting for a wolf? Do you think TDO was scheming?
December 19, 2011 at 10:56 pm

Shit, man… I dunno.
I don’t know about ‘scheming’ per se, but I could see wolf TDO making some of these slips.

I’m not feeling the TDO vote- I thought he was really trying to figure out the Will/Father Jack/Wolf probabilities, which I just don’t see a wolf getting into.

Either way, with this much dialog out there, I think we accomplished quite a bit.
Sorry TDO.
December 19, 2011 at 10:59 pm

I think it’s more likely TDO is a villager than not just because he talked an awful lot early on for a wolf.
But it may tell us more than TAG, I admit.

As the sun sets on another day in the cozy little parish of St Leche, the parishioners gather in the square for their festive evening ritual. With rosy cheeks and twinkling eyes, the little ones prepare the gallows, offering a farewell spank to the naughty flanks of the doomed.
“Before God and our beloved Grey I proclaim my innocence, but if my death helps to flush out the unholy than so be it,” was the proclamation from TDO.
The smallest of the children, limping forward on his crutch, looked up slowly at him with unreasonably large eyes and said “You’re going to die and it’s going to hurt a lot. My da thinks that’s funny. Is it funny?”
“It can be, little Kenny. It can be,” replied TDO.
The boy withdrew, the gallows opened and as the crowd relished in the neck snapping fun, a golden light appeared to emanate from TDO’s broken, twitching body.
Parish, you have killed one of the holy.
Unholy, Father Ted, Mrs Doyle, do your night things. Day begins at 9am CST.
