At long last, the main werewolf history spreadsheet has been updated through yesterday’s action. Enjoy! Or mock my lack of a life. Whatever works best for you.
The secondary sheets might get updated soon, or maybe not. We’ll see.
Let me know if there’s a werewolf or turbo that I missed.

Look, I’ll level with y’all. Going through the past, I can completely understand how I look like a wolf. I’ve been letting my talking dig my grave. I lobbied hard for KG on day 2. I lobbied hard for ginge yesterday. Both were villagers. I’m sorry, I really thought I had something with the Novak-wolf-seer-for-ginge thing. Apparently I just really suck at hunting wolves. However, there’s nowhere else to go. It’s Colin. I know it’s Colin. I really want the villagers to win this after the debacle last time. As a villager who knows who the last wolf is, it’s so frustrating to see everyone going against you.
Colin got rid of inkarnit because he knew that higgs and nettie were already bent on me. (of course, I think inkarnit was probably much the same). He’s so close, he can almost taste it. Don’t let him win again! I beg you!
January 9, 2015 at 9:55 am
Colin
I agree with you that it’s frustrating. I’d love to say good work, because you gave me pause with a couple of your posts, but I think that we did most of the work for you.
no howling for you today though.
I knew you were going to kill Karn and try to pin it on me. it’s the only play you had. Can’t blame you for trying.
January 9, 2015 at 10:05 am
joepunman
Very true, there will be no howling for me. There will be for you though if nettie and higgs vote for me.
I didn’t kill Karn, you did, and you did it because you knew that I would try to pin it on you, and you would use that to try to convince them that it was me setting you up, when it’s you setting me up to look like I set you up. And it’s the best play you had.
So congrats on your wolf win Colin. Can’t believe you got picked to be a wolf twice in a row, and won both of them.
January 9, 2015 at 10:40 am

nice try, but you may recall how annette pulled her vote off of you late in the day, and higgs started to re-evaluate my game and take a different read on me. you knew that inkarnit was gun-ho on you and could persuade bret or annette to go for me, and then you could pounce.

I’ve posted a lot the last couple days about why I think it’s joe, and for some reason we haven’t lynched him. I’ve never really considered Colin, because there’s so little he’s done that would make sense if he was a wolf- and not just a wolf, but the wolf seer!
I guess I need to go back and look through both their games from that perspective. Shit. So much for getting this done in the next hour.
January 9, 2015 at 11:36 am
joepunman
For two games now, the village has not lynched a wolf without the help of a seer. Every instinct the village has had has been dead wrong.
Last time: Instinct said Annette – she was the seer.
This time: Instinct said KG – villager
This time: Instinct told me ginge – villager.
Whatever your instinct. It’s time to ignore that jerk and go the other way.
I’m going back, you missed your chance for a unilateral decision

bhiggum
Second-guessing blows, don’t it?
I’ve been on Joe since day 1. The only reason I have a little voice in my head telling me it’s Colin is because he is so very, very good at playing a role- and he’s fooled me before. Otherwise I’d have my vote down already.
January 9, 2015 at 11:52 am
Colin
seriously we can’t just do this on gut feelings. look at our games – look at day 3 and 4 especially, when the s*** hit the fan for the wolves. Joe does 0% hunting for wolves and 100% damage control.
I know I was on TDO a lot, but his game stunk like wolf breath to me, which I presented my reasoning for.
there are so many things that point to joe being a wolf. I know I have a different perspective knowing that I’m a villager that you don’t have, but it seems so obvious to me.
I’m really worried you guys are going to just feel this one out instead of looking at the game. in that case we’re screwed because most of the time I’ve been a wolf, so everyone thinks of me of a wolf, every game I play.
January 9, 2015 at 11:57 am
bhiggum
No, I’m going to go back and look at some stuff and present it to you two for some explanations. We know whichever one of you it is, you’re the wolf seer. You had to be thinking about making a fake-seer claim with that information, but it got messed up with the relatively-early role claim. There’s going to be a clue somewhere in the first couple days, if we can find it.

Novak’s fake-seer comment-
Alright, I’m alone with the kids again today, so attendance will be spotty. Hopefully they nap well today.
I’m a seer. Here were my picks:
Night 0 – Myself. How to get around the fake seer thing? This way. I came back as a seer. An 86% chance I’m actually the seer.
Night 1 – Higgs, given his inactivity. He is April. Andy should be able to confirm this. Note, last night I told Brooks I’d possibly be down with a Higgs vote, but this was very specifically designed to try to keep myself unknown.
Night 2 – DG. He is Ron. I figured if DG was alive on Day 3, knowing what he was would be key. Oh well.
Obviously the first night pick is a lie, most likely the third is too but that doesn’t matter. The key one is the fact they definitely knew who I was, since I hadn’t claimed yet.
Now, what can that tell us? Would they kill me, knowing I was April? They can’t really try to lynch me- I’ll just role claim. Did either Colin or Joe put any pressure on me the first two days?
January 9, 2015 at 7:42 pm
joepunman

Oh, I don’t know. He’s only won 4 times!! previously as a wolf. The village will forget again.
January 9, 2015 at 8:45 pm
Inkarnit
He was too quick to jump me and TDO. He was too quick to defend Novak’s lie then tried to back pedal when he saw Novak was toast. I pointed all this out in my analysis.

These are Kelly’s notes. The slow pace and village futility makes for some frustration. So read on, knowing that’s coming.
My daughter has scarlet fever, as everyone knows now, so these got started late.
Before I forget: Inkarnit just pointed out (it’s day 2 now) that yickit wasn’t saying anything yesterday. There were nine people who commented fewer times than yickit. He might not have been making meaty posts, but he was certainly around. And normally – this game was an outlier because Brooks HAS to hunt wolves at his best – few people make meaty posts on the first night.
Night 0
Inkarnit (fake seer) looks at TDO and sees villager. ZG (real one) looks at nettie and sees villager. Colin (reverse seer) looks at bhiggum and sees April.
Day 1
2. The wolves will have a tough game here. Colin gets a lot of notice in general, and so does Novak. Rivet might have to be the survivor here.
3. Greg makes the first post, pointing out that he’ll be around basically not at all until school is out.
4. Long discussion about Deadwood and Parks & Rec. “Friends” gets pulled into it, awkwardly. I decide to hold back on how much I loathe it.
5. I take a swing at an actress I knew in college. Only Colin will get it, but it was worth it.
6. Semicolons, Star Trek and Kanye West. Lots of talk about non-related things. Colin bemoans a semicolon that ZG uses, while putting a wayward dash in “semicolon” and ruining his own grammarian argument.
7. todahshy and Colin are the first two to make substantive comments. DG shows up around this time and is frustrated by the lack of…everything, I guess. He starts beating people into corners and trying to get information, not unlike my own approach. It’s a good way to find a wolf, and not a half-bad way to stay alive.
8. yickit makes these three posts in a row. “*vote gingerbread*” … “Err gingerfringe. For the city thing” … “Voty city whatever.” As usual, yickit is speaking his own language. What the hell is all this?
9. Greg drops in, says he hopes his behavior isn’t considered wolfy and then announces he’s dropping an intentionally useless vote so he isn’t killed for non-participation. Oy.
10. yickit out of nowhere: “Also you people are nuts. I’d make a movie reference but you know, mods and stuff.” Again…no idea.
11. The wolves garnered damn near no notice all day, outside of some for Novak. On the upside, we have legitimate wolf-hunting going on, and I don’t feel like the village is hopeless like in the last game.
NIGHT 1
12. nibbish protects DG. The wolves consider killing DG but figure he’ll be protected; they kill nibbish instead. Well, that worked out for them. Really, any dead non-vanillager works out for them. In Star Trek, the first four to die in a game full of roles were vanillagers, and it made it a horribly difficult game for us.
13. I am a little surprised the wolves didn’t go for a known role-holder (since they know bhiggum is April). Killing confirmed role-holders is a very good idea for them, especially since the seer at this point probably doesn’t know he’s the seer. Shooting elsewhere was a dicey proposition, even though they got lucky.
14. Colin peeks TDO, getting the other half of April-Andy. Again, a net positive. Inkarnit peeks Colin, showing villager, and he doubts it highly. ZG peeks at Novak, which could have a huge effect on the game if he can get it out before he dies. Of course, he did die holding an immunity idol in Survivor.
DAY TWO
15. TDO points out that April and Andy role-claiming is a good idea now. I totally agree. You can’t kill both, it removes two targets and the wolves would be idiots to claim them this early with only three wolves total. I can’t believe this hasn’t gotten more traction. In the time since, they’ve mostly just talked about seer claims, which of course are way premature.
16. Lots of wolf-hunting today again. Good stuff, even when wrong. TDO especially is looking at things closely. Actually, ZG is as well.
17. Lots of talk about the votes for yickit. The other option was a villager too, so there’s not much to take from it.
18. DG announces to me that he’s trying to get villagers killed so he has a smaller pool to choose from when it becomes time to make his choice. That’s a solid plan, and one I’m surprised no villagers have worried about. They’re just kind of treating Ron as another good guy. DG says it’s hard to put himself in the mindset, though, to want to kill villagers.
19. TDO posts a list and the wolves are his 3-4-5 suspects. Solid. However, why DG first? He’s playing a very rare helpful game here. He’s also being extremely brash, which is a common hint that a neutral role may be at play. (He admits not long after that it’s little more than a hunch)
20. Annette has Inkarnit-blinders. There’s nothing wolfy about his game here. At all. What are people seeing?
21. Whoa. TDO (about Inkarnit): “I don’t trust him persay, but i think so many are just jumping on him from last game and the wolves are using that to remove focus from theirselves. I’m not dead against him as a wolf, but I want to let him being a wolf simmer down a little before we get tunnel vision.”
Inkarnit’s reply: “Well you are pretty much spot on with your assessment here. That’s exactly what this is. Same as how everyone focused on Annette early last game. And she was the damn seer! Hey, maybe that makes me the seer?”
Crazy. Inkarnit is indeed one of the seers. Is he so sure he’s the bad one that he’s willing to throw it out there, or is this the rare move where the real seer makes a fake seer play? I did that once, but I’m not sure anyone else ever has.
22. DG thinks Bret and Rivet are two of the wolves. He’s close, and I think the only thing keeping him from this is
23. Annette desperately needs to learn how to make posts of substance. She’s doing the same thing as last time, basically just saying she’s not a wolf when questioned and never pointing out why not. She’s also yet to look like a wolf-hunter. If she’s doing it, it’s subtle.
24. pun’s short list includes both wolves from the last game that are playing this one. This is a very weird and yet very common trend among new players here – attacking wolves from the last game, right or wrong.
25. Novak’s stated suspicions are incredibly wolfy, but his backpedaling and lawyering have been solid. Of course, once ZG starts talking it won’t matter. I wonder, though, if the wolves will see a seer in him. Speaking of which, not one person talked about Inkarnit’s halfway seer claim earlier.
26. Rivet’s talking plenty but blending in the right amount. I honestly think he’s going to be the best hope for the wolves. Colin has Inkarnit backing him, but it’s been a weird game, very similar to his last wolf game.
27. ginge has shown up and put a fourth vote on kg. Not a great lynching for the village, but honestly, maybe worse for the wolves to kill a role-less villager. After that they’d really have to take out April or Andy at night to get rid of a role. If they go for a seer and get a vanillager they’re near screwed, no matter how well things have gone so far.
28. Colin makes a list and suggests that TDO is wolfy partially because his rationale is “lousier than usual.” Huh? It’s been pretty good. Someone call Colin on this. Also, as usual on his lists when he’s a wolf, there are no wolves.
29. As I finish typing that, TDO puts together Colin’s unnecessary defense of Novak as a wolf pairing. TDO has been right a LOT in the last couple of games; I hope people are listening.
30. Inkarnit to Colin: “You are both villagers or I’m an idiot.” Well, idiot it is, I guess. Colin’s laying it on pretty thick here.
31. TDO’s new list with an hour and a half to go has Colin and Novak at the top.
32. kg asks for DG to chime in, and he does. TDO wants to know why kg wants to hear from DG; kg responds because DG is good at Werewolf. TDO thinks it’s suspicious that kg wanted to hear from DG and he showed up immediately. Wait, what? This is not suspicious. Don’t blow your game now, TDO. If those two were wolves, they wouldn’t be that idiotic.
33. 52 minutes to go. 11 voters are all voting for villagers. That’s a near-impossibility. The villagers have some bullets but they’ll need to use them soon. April and Andy could have claimed today.
34. Kage has been the leading vote-getter for hours but hasn’t voted. To me this is an extremely villagery move. Not sure everyone sees it this way, but I picked it up somewhere.
35. DG is all over several villagers, which is exactly what he wants. If he survives the night, I think he’ll win his part of this.
36. Annette shows up late and wonders why she’s seen as unhelpful. Well, not appearing to hunt wolves is probably the problem. She says Inkarnit acts the same as a villager as he did as a wolf, which I don’t see. At all. I’m modding, though, so who knows?
37. DPWY emails me: “Either [Inkarnit’s] a wolf again, or he’s the worst villager of all time.” Neither, frankly. I think he’s a better villager than wolf. I feel like we could do a podcast solely on him by now, though.
38. With 13 minutes to go it’s joepunman or nettiebarron. The wolves have to be happy, but these are both vanillagers. There are no votes for wolves – not ONE – but the village has decent instincts and a lot of weapons tomorrow.
39. kg is dead. A couple of wolves switched late for no reason. There hasn’t been a wolf kill on this site in months, but but I remain confident that the wolves are in trouble.
NIGHT 2
40. Todahshy thinks Inkarnit is Swanson, for his searching. The wolves say that Inkarnit is searching harder than anyone. This basically blows Will’s theory.
41. Inkarnit peeks at Novak and gets Jessica Wicks. Close enough. This won’t help him. Only TDO dying tonight will help him.
42. ZG sees todahshy, the actual Jessica Wicks. Good Lord, I hope, for his sake, he gets the info out.
43. Rivet wants to kill Zee and peek joe. He changes his mind when he figures he can frame Zee for the kg kill. Oh boy…that’s a game-altering switch. He even had ZG pinned as a seer. At least TDO is likely to live, meaning the seers still won’t know for sure. Rivet goes BACK to Zee and Novak stumps for DG because of his abilitiesor something. Man, they HAD the seer here.
44. The wolves are ignoring TDO and higgs completely. Dumb. That could be their demise. Killing DG just makes it a less interesting game. Also, what are you so worried about? He’s an awesome wolf, but other villagers are on his level (though, admittedly, he’s good at getting other villagers to shape up and look at things).
DAY THREE
45. This is claim day. If all the villagers claim this game will be hard for the wolves to win.
46. Yep, the village is talking it out right now. Rivet figures the wolves are screwed. They really needed to take out April or Andy last night.
47. TDO is undoing his good yesterday, saying he doesn’t know about claiming and he doubts inkarnit for bringing it up. This is the same junk Novak was doing when I was suggesting claims to win a game once, which it did and after the game Novak STILL acted like I was suspicious for doing it. Remember how bad Novak used to be at this? Oh man.
48. Novak is trying to set up Annette, who’s not helping herself and giving her usual “No I’m not” line with no analysis or argument. Much like Novak early, I would have guessed Annette would be good at this, but oy.
49. When the wolves lose this game, their two failures to kill April or Andy will be a major culprit. They had the knowledge for two nights and didn’t use it. These two can verify each other, wolves. This was an awful oversight.
50. Inkarnit is talking himself out of claiming today, which means he can’t come out with his info, meaning TDO can’t confirm that he’s the fake, meaning ZG can’t be sure he’s real and come out as a seer. All the while, the wolves know ZG is one of them. He is going to die with this info because Inkarnit thinks this game will go on forever, or something. Dear God. They can’t kill ALL the seers in one day, Inkarnit.
51. Inkarnit: “So Annette, Gingefringe, Joe, Bret, TDO, todahshy, and Zee. That’s a huge field of suspects.” So he only left out two people, and BOTH are wolves. Once the claims start, the wolves are going to have a lot of firepower just because the village is so wrong about everything.
52. TDO wants the seers to come out first so the role players can confirm or deny their info. Wouldn’t it make more sense for Andy and April to come out first, so they can confirm each other and possibly tell the seers what they need to know? TDO’s inability to just come out with it is a bit selfish here. Unfortunately, he’s paired with bhiggum who probably won’t do it without the go-ahead. If I was April here, I’d just come out with it right now.
53. Brooks: “All they have to do is say ‘I am ____’” and they probably win. That’s it.” Indeed. Come on, village. Stop pussing out of this.
54. Rivet: “Matt is so wolfy I think I need to just vote for him at this point lol
what a disaster this game turned into” Yeah, but the village isn’t seeing it, so who cares?
55. Colin is being such a dick right now, and really, all through most of the last two games.
56. Inkarnit finally starts the claiming. TDO says “Interesting, let’s hear from the others.” Why not point it out right away? What is so useful about keeping April and Andy hidden at this point?
57. Novak comes out as a seer while ZG remains absent. Novak says he’ll be “back with the information later.” Good GOD, Novak. This is pretty lame right here. Everyone knows it takes not a minute to type up three peeks.
58. Novak’s claims are Wolf Crap 101. One that everyone will know soon anyway, one of himself, and one of a dead guy. I already told Inkarnit he couldn’t peek at himself. Novak reaaaaaally should have asked me this.
59. This is a disaster for the wolves. Colin will have to get along alone, which he might. It should be obvious that Novak is the liar, but who knows with the way the village has acted for a while now. When TDO comes back he’ll be able to confirm Inkarnit is fake or a liar, and that Novak is Donna or a wolf. TDO guessed wrong in Christmastime when it was me or nibbish as the seer and there was really clear evidence that I was the real one. I’m interested to see what he thinks.
60. Novak has stopped talking for the day; it’s a good move. He wonders, like I do, why the votes aren’t rolling in. Of course, they start rolling in a half hour after I type this, when bhiggum notices that Novak probably isn’t planning on talking anymore.
61. Colin is trying to frame TDO…sigh. Inkarnit points out that hints were dropped that he might be Andy, and that Colin was quick to jump in and defend Novak after the wolf play. Colin defends fellow wolves all the time. It is his very worst wolf quality.
62. TDO shows up right after to say he’s Andy, and adds that Inkarnit is either Jerry or “The Wolf Seer.” Why would the wolf seer come forward? He could easily be neither, though I think it’s clear he’s Jerry.
63. Inkarnit’s had a decent game, but he still thinks Colin is clean because of how hard he went at him. This isn’t over, as much as it should be.
64. TDO is continuing the “you might be the wolf seer” thing on Inkarnit. Why would the wolf seer have come out as a normal seer?! Colin points out why he can’t be, and it makes perfect sense. That doesn’t mean TDO will buy it if he’s playing conspiracy games today, though. Man, he had such a good game before today.
65. Now TDO likes Novak as the real seer because he thinks everyone is agreeing too much about him. You can’t make this stuff up, people.
66. TDO just said that “Colin, Novak and todah are three of the four wolves.” There are three wolves.
67. Colin is still trying to go after TDO, who is essentially a fucking confirmed villager. No clue, guys. It’s not the first time Colin as a wolf has gone after someone like this, though (and last time, the person was literally confirmed). He’s also unwilling to vote Novak with everyone else, essentially destroying his own game.
68. Colin made the vote, after Inkarnit pressed him to do so. Oy. This was one of the all-time worst wolf days.
69. Colin is really upset, via email, that TDO is “right for all the wrong reasons.” He caught Novak defending you and put it together, dude. Not to mention your own wolfy-as-hell game. Let it go.
NIGHT THREE
70. Really, the only way the village loses now is by killing both ginger and punman. They should be good, but it’s not over, either.
71. Before settling on Zee, Colin was kicking around the idea of killing bhiggum and setting up TDO as a fake Andy. Thankfully, he recognized this wouldn’t work, but man, he spent a long time pointed at a dead end. Now he has to start from scratch with pun or Greg.
DAY FOUR
72. DG said “They’re going to take forever on this, aren’t they?” And we start with inkarnit pointing out that todah is a wolf, and then not voting him. Oh God, then he comes in with: “We can afford to miss one. Let’s leave todahshy alive for now unless we make no headway.” WHY?!?!?!?!! JUST KILL THE WOLF!
73. Colin is going OFF about TDO and his game. Colin has been a mess all game long. Dude. TDO outplayed you. Stop being a douche because you don’t like it.
74. pun votes for Colin. This happens to be right, but when you have a wolf, KILL him. The villae has lost multiple games by not doing so. If Zee hadn’t peeked todah the wolves would be walking away with this. And Inkarnit comes in with a legitimate concern: “See this right here makes me think maybe Colin is innocent after all… If Joe’s a wolf, he wants us to vote for a non-wolf. If Joe’s a villager, he’s awfully quick on the Colin trigger.”
75. Inkarnit: “Lets remember that todahshy and the hidden wolf can pile on at any time so let’s not get anyone up to 3 votes unless we’re sure they’re a wolf.” Hey, maybe kill the wolf that you have and this will not happen. BECAUSE IT WOULD THEN BE IMPOSSIBLE
76. After pun switches to todah, this is the proof inkarnit needs to vote pun. This is absolutely beyond words.
77. bhiggum says “Dead wolves smell like victory” and votes for pun. If you’re going to use that line, vote for the known wolf.
78. TDO wants to either vote for the known or for Colin. Sage advice. Brooks points out that with two votes on joe, just one more means todah can pounce and get an easy kill.
79. Inkarnit is now leaning ginge because he and todah had the same day 1 and 2 votes and stayed out of the day 3 vote. So he believes that two wolves in a 3-wolf game made a concerted effort to do the exact same thing, and that the old one didn’t kill the new one for copying him at night.
80. Annette posts that she agrees with TDO and they should take the sure wolf. I can’t believe this is even a discussion. Inkarnit asks why the same thing won’t happen tomorrow? Well it will, but you have a clearer picture of who’s doing what and a smaller group that can pile on. Right now todah is able to jump on any vote he likes. Isn’t that dumb? Just, horribly DUMB?
NIGHT FOUR
81. Well, they did the right thing. Hopefully they don’t ignore their instincts and go after Colin again. Though if not, that’s fine/hilarious too. Seers are now obsolete as Colin has nothing left to learns and Inkarnit knows he’s fake. I guess I have an hour off before I have to judge PwtP.
DAY FIVE
82. I don’t know what’s worse: Colin exonerating ginge, or joe stepping in afterward and trying to railroad ginge, figuring Novak took the lead on the fake wolf seer bit to protect a quiet wolf. Why would the wolves have assumed the wolf seer would be the one to pretend to be the real seer? This makes NO SENSE. Obviously, the wolf seer wouldn’t come out. Where did that initial assumption come from? At any rate, Colin should be obvious with Novak’s protection of him and his weird TDO ramblings yesterday after TDO was clearly shown to be Andy, but as always, I don’t know what this village will do.
83. Inkarnit goes through Colin’s entire game, and it’s seriously damning. Basically he calls out all the things I’ve called out here – attacking weak targets and never killing wolves. On day one and two he never once passed through a known wolf. On day three he had to be prodded to kill a known wolf, even after he said voting Novak was a good idea. Inkarnit stops there because everything on day four was “irrelevant because everything was known.” I wouldn’t call this irrelevant. Colin didn’t vote for the known wolf on day four, either. He has done everything to serve the wolves and has made no attempt to hide it. I hope Inkarnit’s search of pun comes up relatively clean, because I’m not sure I can take it if they bungle it now.
84. Not long after Inkarnit’s analysis, which makes it clear that Colin is not only a wolf but an obvious one, pun backs off his Colin vote and goes for gingefringe, assuming that Greg is just silently hiding. This village makes me want to jump off a bridge.
85. bhiggum puts together an ultra-flimsy case on pun that’s weak on its own merit, but ten times worse considering it’s right below Inkarnit’s case on Colin. He nonetheless is totally ignoring the case on Colin to further his witch hunt. Greg has shown up and is looking in the right direction. Maybe he can salvage this thing…THAT would be a hell of a sight.
86. Even Inkarnit is leaning pun after his own analysis on Colin. You have got to be shitting me.
87. There it is. Inkarnit is completely talking himself out of Colin, because “why would the wolf seer stick himself out so far?” ‘Cause he’s needlessly aggressive, dude. Wolves are gonna win this.
88. The upside of all this is that DG, nibs and I are having some fun laughs at the village today. pun noticing TDO was killed because he was after Colin, but attributing it to someone else. Inkarnit posting the perfect case against Colin while Bret ignores it. Greg allowing himself to be killed and nobody noticing that THIS MAKES HIM A VILLAGER. Inkarnit goes so far as to ask if he’s willing to vote for himself. If he does and they don’t put this together, I’m retiring Werewolf.
89. Greg self-votes. bhiggum and Colin immediately seem to recognize what this means. Colin comes in saying he’s ready to vote for Greg, so his would have been the kill vote. He quickly backpedals when he sees what just went down. Inkarnit pulls his vote, and GREG has made the play of the game, if you can believe that. Now to follow up on it. Meanwhile, Annette is nowhere to be found and Colin just says “Interesting,” waiting to see if he can still pounce or if he’s toast.
90. Nothing happens after this. Just silence. “It’s been 15 minutes since Greg self-voted, and the mod has made the most analysis,” Brooks says to me.
91. Another few go by, and bhiggum steps in suggesting Greg’s play was too selfless and Colin almost could have dropped the kill vote. Alright, village, for seeing all this I’m in your corner again. Bring it home.
92. Welp, Inkarnit goes back to punman. I hope tomorrow he remembers what Greg did here. How, now, is Colin going to spin it when pun comes up clean and he realizes it’s stupid to think it’s Greg?
93. Colin comes back with a response, saying he tried it once as a wolf and it didn’t work. He still wants to go ginge. It’s awwwwwfully thin, but really, Colin’s options are limited and he has to get ginge lynched if he wants to win, so that’s what we’ve got.
94. punman responds to Annette, saying he hasn’t been talking because when he’s been around nobody was talking. Do all these players assume that someone else is going to start conversations for them? If all you do is react, it’s extremely wolfy. He also says “nothing was going on” but fails to comment on the big-ass thing that just happened.
95. Yep, looks like he’s not going to comment on it. Annette wants a non-wolfy comment from him and he manages “meow.” Are there too many new people in there right now? We’ve been a little harsh, but I think that’s what’s happening.
96. Nope, he commented. “ginge self-voting to get you to move in a different direction is EXACTLY what he wants to happen. I’ll admit though, that’s some cajones.” Fuck it, I’m out of here.
97. joe continues to harp on the whole “wolf seer” thing, as if it was still important once all the roles had been claimed. EVERYONE KNEW ALL THE ROLES once they were claimed, punman. It didn’t matter which wolf came forth. Novak stepped up not as protection, but because he was the one with the most heat on him. It cannot be ginge. This is madness. Absolute madness.
98. Wanting to vote ginge at this point is damn near unforgivable. Please, bhiggsy, THINK.
99. Brooks points out that nobody has commented on Greg calling out Colin, and that tomorrow they’ll all just say Greg hasn’t done anything. You know? In <20 posts Greg has hunted more than Annette, and not much less than pun (though pun has been wrong, mostly). There’s a startling amount here in the late game of people just not responding to things. It’s all just solo agendas. The way everyone’s playing, if I were in there, I’d be half-convinced they were all wolves for their selfishness, outside of Greg.
100. Joe yells in capital letters that he’s not a wolf and it’s a mistake. Oh, well that clears that up. Care to point out why Colin has to be?
101. Annette comes along out of nowhere and finishes off ginge with no explanation. So that’s that. Ginge proved he was a villager and you took him out anyway. Now it’s joe or Colin tomorrow. What. A. Trainwreck.
NIGHT FIVE
102. Inkarnit’s toast. Easy pick for Colin. bhiggum has been wrong and Annette barely posts anything of substance.
DAY SIX
103. Now, backed into a corner, pun puts up a post about Colin being the last one, because he has to be. But that’s pretty much it. No reference to the eight billion wolfy things Colin has done.
104. bhiggum finally shows up over an hour into the day and asks Annette what they should do. Has she given enough analysis in this game to warrant being asked?
105. Truth in Colin’s last comment: “I've played a terrible game, and so has the rest of the village, frankly.”
106. pun votes for himself to make it 2 votes against, attempting to do what ginge did yesterday. The problem is, it’s got no meaning attached. bhiggum and Annette know that the wolf is among the two of them so there’s no danger of piling on. It could backfire. pun, stop focusing on yourself and remind everyone why Colin is a clear-cut wolf. This isn’t even a difficult one to prove.
107. Annette is around and promises to look back at the game. Well, that’s something.
108. bhiggs: “I've never really considered Colin, because there's so little he's done that would make sense if he was a wolf- and not just a wolf, but the wolf seer!” Literally everything he’s done has been in line with his wolf game.
109. bhiggum said the wolf-seer “had to be planning on making a seer claim” with their knowledge. WHY?! WHY WOULDN’T THE WOLVES HAVE A LESS IMPORTANT WOLF CLAIM?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?
110. pun: “If this doesn't scream wolf pointing out "wolf desperation" I don't know what does.” Lots of things do. Point them out too.
111. [DG] – We’re coming up on three hours since the last comment relating to who might or might not be a wolf or how such things could be figured out. I feel like punman figured out that Colin was the wolf by process of elimination and then decided his work was done. He needs to realize that he only has one vote, and that he needs, at the very least, one more. Meanwhile anyone following this game is slowly slipping into an apathetic coma. At this point, bhiggum chimes in to say he won’t be back for another three hours. So… see you all then, I guess. Except Colin, who pipes up to say he won’t be around until even later than that.
112. [DG] – bhiggum and nettie return and do some wolf hunting. As of this writing they haven’t decided anything, but they appear to be approaching things with open minds. We might just finish this thing tonight. They aren’t putting any questions to Colin or joepunman though and seem set to decide things based on their own interpretations.
113. [DG] – bhiggum points out that novak put joe in moderate danger on day 2, but dismisses it because he didn’t stay there long. These things are going to be agonizing with hindsight.

What drives me nuts is how all the terrible plays i made to help me look as not possibly a wolf were totally intentional- I had to do this to possibly survive a back to back wolf game-yet it goes into the books as stupid play because everyone outside of the game has the observers perspective.
Blech.

I’m talking about observers who didn’t know. They all figured it out outside of Zee (who did his part in the game). You have tells. I’ll bet I’m seeing the same ones as Will.

I nearly emailed spoonto to say that if the grey wolf gets away with this I don’t know what I’ll do. Wish I had.

Remember how bad Novak used to be at this?
Soooooo bad.
TDO had a heck of a game.
I felt like Inkarnit ended up right for all the wrong reasons. He soooo wanted to believe he was the real seer that he was convinced he knew things he didn’t actually. To his credit, he put a lot of things together once the roles were actually known.

Thank you.. Ish.
I had you pegged as wolf before I peeked you though. I just couldn’t get anyone else on board. I also had Colin the same. My comment about two and Colin both being villagers or I’m an idiot was basically saying “they’re both villagers or I’m Jerry.” Because once I got Colin as villager I was damn sure I was Jerry.

I feel like you were too confident about it though. Like, you didn’t have reasons, you just had a desire for it to be true and went with that, and it just happened to be right. Maybe that was just in the presentation, and not in reality, but that was how it came across to me. I felt like you exaggerated or ignored most of what I actually said, so arguing with you was an exercise in futility, and felt like it would have been had I been a villager too.
Though I need to give serious props on the day one analysis you pulled out, asking Annette to assume you were a villager and use that to exonerate the flippers. That was solid.

To which I got: I don’t assume that. That was annoying. But thanks. Yeah I need to work on my presentation for sure.

Spooky didn’t mention with point 37 that I attached a link to a comment. It was inkarnit making a completely flimsy argument against Novak. So anyway, I caught him laying a totally giant arrow aimed at Novak, but it had absolutely nothing behind it besides “Trust me, Novak’s a wolf!” that it was driving me nuts. In hindsight, awesome job that day, inkarnit, because I would have tried to kill you but your death would have led back to Novak (at least to me) if you had been Donna.

I can’t read Colin. Just can’t. Damn it.
Good game, everyone.

I only have one question for you – why did you ignore inkarnit’s airtight explanation on why Colin had to be a wolf? Seriously. It was all in one place.

I… I have laughed so many times because of this site, but I have never laughed as long and as hard as I just did.
No matter which way this came out, this was going to be one of the funnest games of Werewolf I’ve ever played. Thanks all for the great time.

Werewolf: Game of Thrones next? Lannisters are wolves? Or Starks. It could be reverse. The wolves are the only good guys.

Spooky, I’m curious what cues I’m missing. I didn’t focus on Colin as a wolf because I honestly couldn’t see many of them. I know I’m a relatively new player, so I’m trying to learn here. Also, it seemed that anything and everything I was saying was so wolfy. At the end, I really had nothing to go on. I couldn’t think of anything to point to Colin.
As far as ginge, I really did think he could be a silent wolf. I was afraid if I lobbied hard for Colin on Day 5, and he turned out to be a villager, i’d have a much harder time trying to prove ginge was a wolf. On the other hand, if i took out ginge, it would be more of a tossup between me and Colin. But by the end of day 5, I was convinced ginge was a silent wolf.
Really it comes down to the fact that I really just don’t know this game and this crew enough.

Ginge exonerated himself with the self-vote. A wolf wouldn’t have had the room to do that with that many players left. Your cry of ‘that’s what he wants!’ proved you weren’t looking for a wolf, you were looking for any reason in the world to claim ginge was a wolf. Your single mindedness is what made you look so wolfy. Also, if he was a wolf the others may have sold him out earlier.
As for Colin, it’s all in note 83. He refused to vote for even verified wolves.

What he said. I really didn’t think I had to say much more after he agreed to self vote and I removed my vote immediately. I thought we’d go Joe and then know it was Colin if that didn’t work.

See, and others were throwing out that wolves will sometimes vote for fellow wolves in order to look less suspicious. I did notice that about Colin (that he didn’t vote for known wolves), but didn’t necessarily make the connection (now I know)
I should’ve known ginge was innocent with the self-vote, but I did have severe tunnel vision. I really thought I had a better chance of convincing them that Colin was more wolf than me on the last day rather than try to convince them of ginge vs. me.
Also, regarding the frustration with the village, keep in mind we’re morons and don’t have the knowledge you have. Also, some of us are still green in this game. 🙂

I think the new-ness of a lot of the village at the end was exploited by Colin. It’s hard when there hasn’t been a successful wolf hunt without seer aid because people don’t quite know what to look for.
What a villager looks for in the beginning is weird behavior (and that’s really hard – that’s why day 1 is not usually successful). Once you have some votes that have been put down, you have to start looking at when people voted, how they justified it, that kind of thing. It becomes less “this feels wolfy” and more “this action makes sense if ___ is a wolf”.
To me (and I was told Colin was a wolf after I died), Colin’s response to novak’s seer claim was the most damning thing he did. Trying to keep that door open of “maybe novak is telling the truth” as long as he did required more investigation.

Yeah. Pointing out how Kelly usually responds to rules being made public and whatnot really took advantage of what new players may or may not know.

I was referring more to his aggression early and small nudges late to push people toward the wrong targets.

HOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
The Novak/Rivet team unbeaten! (With a tiny assist from Colin)
And I finally have a win in this game! I’ll treasure it no matter how undeserved it was!

One other thing. The village could have won this game WITHOUT EVEN FINDING COLIN if it hadn’t reached a majority on day four. I mentioned this to spoons at the time. If you kill toadsy (a known wolf) but agree not to reach a majority, then ginge gets a strike. The next day, you convince ginge not to vote (to get another strike and call himself) because his death will show him to be a villager.
Then you can kill either punman or Colin on day five (let’s say punman). Then ginge dies automatically. That leaves Colin and three confirmed villagers. Village wins.
Too bad Kg was dead too early to help you guys break the game.
